Who it is for
Australian kitchen, bathroom, laundry and joinery businesses. Sample designs for fictional firms: the forms send nothing and the contact details reach no one.
Wattle & Grain Kitchens is one of 4 designs in the renovation set, and each of them is written for a different kind of business inside the same trade — so the one that fits is a choice, not a compromise. If this one is close but not exact, the others are below.
It suits a business that wants to see a whole site before committing to one. It is a sample for an invented business: demo-reno-1.pages.dev is deployed and every page on it opens, but its forms send nothing and its contact details reach no one.
What you get
- 01
12 real pages
Not a page count invented for a brochure — 12 is the number of routes this site's own production build emitted.
- 02
A fictional business
The name, the people, the prices and the contact details are invented for this sample. Its phone numbers and email addresses cannot reach anyone.
- 03
Forms you can try
The quote, booking and contact forms can be filled in on the live sample. They are not connected to anything, so nothing is sent.
- 04
Kept out of search
Every page is marked noindex, nofollow and its robots.txt disallows the whole site, so a sample never competes with a real business.
- 05
Static, on the edge
Pre-rendered HTML built with Astro and served from Cloudflare Pages. No server to keep alive, no database to migrate.
How it is built for search
This is a sample, so it is deliberately kept out of search: it carries no canonical, Open Graph, structured data or sitemap. What is below is checkable in the page source of the live sample. We publish no ranking, traffic, Lighthouse or Core Web Vitals numbers here.
- Its own title and meta description on every page
- Written for that page, not one template repeated — checkable in the source of each route.
- noindex, nofollow on every page
- A robots meta tag on every route tells search engines to leave the sample alone.
- robots.txt disallows everything
- A second, site-wide instruction to crawlers, so the sample stays out of search.
- Pre-rendered HTML
- Every route is static HTML generated at build time, not assembled in the browser.
The page-count figures on this site — 12 for Wattle & Grain Kitchens, 3,380 across all 87 designs — are the number of routes each project's own production build emitted. That is the only measured number we publish.
